It's Personal

Aprisa® is the story of two professional, multi-tasking career moms, with synergistic talents and complimentary skill sets, united in one goal:  to create effective, high-quality, scientifically based skincare products to meet the unique needs of themselves and their families.  But they are also united in mission to give back to their community and to those causes which have affected them personally.  One such cause is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Aprisa® co-founder Lisa lost her cousin Danielle to Hodgkins Lymphoma when her cousin was only 28 years old and 16 weeks pregnant with a baby girl.  Her memory will always be dear to our hearts. A portion of Aprisa®’s profits are donated to local LLS events to remember and to give hope to those fighting the same battle.  And we continue to seek other causes and charities with a connection to make a difference.

In it together

Aprisa® co-founder Apral has a personal experience with autoimmune diseases and how this can impact a family.  Apral was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease, which has caused extreme sensitivities to cosmetic products and environmental triggers. This has been a driving force for the development of Aprisa®'s scientific based products that are hypoallergenic and aim to minimize skin reactions or irritations.  In addition, Apral’s 20 year old daughter was diagnosed in 2020 with Psoriatic Arthritis as well as her 13 year old daughter in 2021, which is another autoimmune disease and can have a serious affect on one’s daily life.  Aprisa® is committed to giving back to the Arthritis Foundation as a way to support research towards developing further cures for patients with autoimmune diseases.
